Hi, I’m Coal and I was found on a back country road wandering around. I found myself at the local animal control in doggy jail. Thank goodness a rescue stepped up and got me out of there. A lot of dogs don’t make it out. I am safe, healthy, and full of love to give.

I’m a happy, affectionate guy who lives for cuddle time. My tail never stops wagging and I have the whole body wiggles when people are around. I’m always ready to give kisses and climb into your lap. Playtime is my favorite time, especially if it involves other dogs. I’d be thrilled to have a canine sibling or two to romp around with in my new home. I am in a foster home with three small dogs and do well.

I have a few cats in my foster home and do well with them.

I am house trained and crate trained.

I’m a smart, active pup who would love an adventurous family. Hiking? Exploring? Fetch in the yard? Count me in! I walk great on leash and am friendly with every one I meet. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to join you on the trail and on the couch, I might just be your perfect match.
