Iris

Meet Iris, a ten-month-old Lab/Dane mix weighing over 60 pounds. Iris is a big, happy goofball with a sweet personality and an adorable smile that’s sure to make you laugh. She’s friendly and enjoys being around people, but she’s still learning about some of the basics — especially walking on a leash. Leashes seem to be very new and a little scary for Iris right now, so she will need a patient adopter willing to help her build confidence and learn at her own pace. A harness may help her feel more secure as she adjusts and discovers that walks can be fun. Despite her uncertainty with the leash, Iris has a joyful spirit and a loving nature that shine through. With some guidance, encouragement, and consistency, this goofy girl is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion.

Ongoing Health

All pets are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming. They also receive flea/tick treatment and a rabies vaccine (for pets 3-4 months and older). All pets are microchipped with nationwide registration.

Training & Support

Iris is still learning leash manners and will need a patient adopter to help her gain confidence.
