Gigi Bardot

Meet Gigi Bardot! This sweet lady is a 5.5-year-old Papillon mix weighing around 20 pounds. She came to us from a puppy mill where she was used for breeding until she was no longer wanted. Due to her past, Gigi is very fearful of new people and will require a patient adopter who is willing to help her continue to grow and give her the wonderful life she deserves. She has so much potential in her sweet soul to just want to be with someone who will appreciate her for who she is.

Ideal Home

Gigi does love other dogs, so she will do best in a home where there is another dog around her size and age. This will help her become more confident and have a safe space. She has not been around children or men. We would recommend that her potential family have a fenced-in yard for her to exercise and potty safely, as she is considered a flight risk and does not do well on a leash.

Ongoing Health

Gigi has been treated with de-wormer, heartworm tested, treated for fleas/ticks, microchipped, and examined by a veterinarian with age-appropriate vaccinations. She will be spayed prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Gigi knows to go potty outside, but she does have occasional accidents. Gigi does not walk well on a leash and is not likely to be a cuddly lap dog.

Gigi is located in Rochester, NY, and we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits.
