Prince is a handsome gentleman around 2 to 2 1/2 years old, weighing between 58 and 64 pounds. He was surrendered to a high-kill shelter through no fault of his own. Thankfully, he was rescued just in time and has blossomed into a real gem! Prince is crate trained, potty trained, up-to-date on all his shots, and has even completed his heartworm treatment with flying colors. He was also treated for an eye issue, entropion, and his eye is now completely fixed and healthy. Prince enjoys walks, playing in his fenced yard, and car rides. His energy level is medium.
Ideal Home
Prince would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can play and explore. While he enjoys the company of other dogs and is playful with them, a canine companion is not a requirement for him. He can be a great addition to a family with children, a couple, or even a single person who will include him in their daily adventures. He is not suited for apartment living.
Ongoing Health
Prince is heartworm negative and his entropion eye surgery was successful. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations.
Training & Support
Prince knows several commands, including "sit," "come," "heel" for leash walking, and "gentle" or "nice" when taking treats. He was previously noted to hump other dogs but has stopped this behavior since being neutered. He is treat and food motivated but not food aggressive.
