Harley (23)

Harley is a curious and observant Beagle boy who is just beginning to discover the joys of the world outside his previous environment. He's still learning about new sounds, smells, and human interactions, but he's finding that he really enjoys the company of other dogs and car rides. Harley is a bit of a shadow, wanting to be close to his humans, and he's making progress with house training. He can sometimes freeze during walks, needing a moment to process his surroundings, and he tends to be shy at first. However, with a little time and patience, Harley blossoms and enjoys playtime.

Ideal Home

Harley would thrive in a home with patient and understanding humans who can be home often, as he doesn't enjoy being kenneled too much. He also needs at least one other dog in the home to help build his confidence and provide companionship.

Ongoing Health

Harley is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Harley is still working on house training and can sometimes freeze on walks. He may get nervous when his leash is attached and will paw and bark a bit when his crate door is closed, though he does settle. He may also whine a bit when left alone. Positive reinforcement training is highly recommended to help him build a strong bond and integrate successfully into his new family.
