A little about them
Big Tina is an approximately 2½-year-old Malinois and an affectionate, social dog with plenty of athletic ability and personality. She enjoys people, loves playing fetch, walks nicely on leash, comes when called, and can happily settle into couch-potato mode after an active day.
She has lived with male and female dogs and can do well with other dogs, though she may bring some boss-lady energy. She is not suitable for a home with cats. Big Tina can clear a six-foot fence and has escaped fencing before, so secure containment is essential. She is athletic, food motivated, ball driven, and may be a great fit for someone interested in giving her a job or exploring dog sports. She also enjoys entertaining herself when things are quiet.
Ideal Home
Big Tina needs a family that will take containment seriously and provide secure fencing. She would benefit from appropriate outlets for her energy, continued training, structure, and enrichment. She is affectionate without being overly needy and genuinely enjoys people.
Ongoing Health
No medical conditions or health tests are reported. Big Tina is spayed and vaccinated.
Training & Support
Big Tina knows some sit and down, walks nicely on leash, comes when called, and enjoys bringing a ball back for another throw. She politely allows people to take her toys and is not particularly interested in tug. She is not presented as a fully trained Malinois and will need continued training. She is also an opportunistic counter surfer, so unattended food may be treated as a donation.
All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and six-month subscription.
