Meet Mya, a beautiful 10-year-old Husky with soulful blue eyes and a gentle heart. After spending 158 days in the shelter, she's hoping this will be the week her forever family finds her. Mya is everything you could want in a companion--sweet, affectionate, and full of personality. Like a true Husky, she loves to "talk," sing, and let you know exactly how she's feeling. Her conversations are sure to bring a smile to your face every day! 🐺💙 Mya came to the shelter with her sister, Cleo, and the two share a special bond. Senior dogs have so much love left to give, and Mya is no exception. She doesn't need perfection--just someone willing to give her the love, comfort, and security she's been waiting for.

Ideal Home

Mya is great with children and older adults. She isn't suited for a home with cats. She would love nothing more than to stay with her sister, Cleo, if the right family comes along.

Ongoing Health

Mya is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and is looking forward to feeling her best as she prepares for the next chapter of her life.

Training & Support

Mya walks well on a leash and travels beautifully.
