Blitz

Hi there! My name is Blitz! I'm a charming 3-year-old, 64 lb bundle of playful energy and smarts, just looking for my forever family. The amazing staff and volunteers here are still getting to know me, but they can already tell I'm a sweet and active pup. I'm ready to bring lots of joy and adventure into my new home!

Ideal Home

A home where I can relax and recover from heartworm treatment would be wonderful. I'll need a calm and loving environment to get back to my full, energetic self!

Ongoing Health

I recently tested positive for heartworm, but don't worry, it's treatable! The cost of my treatment is covered, and I'll need a quiet place to rest while I recover. I'll also need to see your personal vet within two weeks of leaving the kennel. I'm up-to-date on my DAPPL, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines, and I'm microchipped and licensed.

Training & Support

Since I'm still new here, the team is still learning all about my quirks and training needs. Many of us are strays, so we don't always know about past living situations with kids, other pets, or house training. What we do know is based on observations from staff and volunteers. If you have other dogs or children, we'll want them to join us for a meet-and-greet to make sure we're a good fit!

• An adoption counselor will reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet.
• You're welcome to meet multiple dogs to find your perfect match.
• The adoption fee is $61 and covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and license.
• If I'm already spayed/neutered when you meet me, I can go home with you that day! Otherwise, I'll go home after my surgery.
