Nala is a fun-loving, energetic girl weighing around 25-30 pounds who is ready to find her perfect forever home! She may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once she warms up, her sweet and affectionate personality truly shines. This playful pup loves staying active, her favorite things include going on walks, playing fetch, running around, and of course soaking up all the cuddles and attention she can get. She's incredibly smart and food-motivated, which makes training a great bonding experience. Nala is a toy lover, but with a funny twist, stuffed toys don't stand a chance! She is also crate trained, potty trained, and knows commands like sit and paw.
Ideal Home
Nala absolutely adores people and especially loves being around kids, though she may need a little guidance with jumping when she gets excited. She can be a bit cautious with sudden movements and may take extra time to feel comfortable around men, so a patient and understanding home will help her feel safe and confident. Nala does best as the only pet in the home, though she has successfully lived with cats, when introduced as kittens, introduced slowly and properly, and raised together! Because of her energy and curiosity, Nala will need a secure home, she's always on the move and will take the opportunity to explore if she finds a way out.
Ongoing Health
Nala is spayed, she is due for her rabies vaccine, and she is chipped. She is approximately 2 years old.
Training & Support
Nala may need a little guidance with jumping when she gets excited. She is already crate trained (just say "go to bed" and she'll head right in) and potty trained. She'll do best with durable toys and a little supervision during playtime due to her tendency to shred stuffed toys. She uses a slow feeder bowl since she gets very excited about mealtime!
