Chili Bean (20220704-03)

Chili Bean is a 5-year-old, 60-62lb black Lab mix with white patches, a sweet and affectionate girl who has a heart full of love and a playful spirit. She's happiest when she has a furry friend to romp with, share toys, and curl up beside after a fun day of play. She's gentle, loyal, and eager to belong. She enjoys walks on the leash, rides well in the car (when crated as she is nervous), and is house and crate trained. Chili Bean can be a bit shy with new people but warms up quickly to consistent routines, and her shyness will fade with time. She is not a barker or destructive.

Ideal Home

Chili Bean needs a home with a yard and another confident dog of her size to be her built-in best friend and show her the ropes. She would do best with older children due to her shyness and cannot live in an apartment. She is a flight risk until she is comfortable in her new home.

Ongoing Health

Chili Bean is spayed and is generally healthy.

Training & Support

Chili Bean is not food aggressive. She walks well on a leash and is comfortable being handled, though she can still get nervous when receiving snuggles or when strangers try to approach. She does better with her harness on and will walk right beside you.
