Hi, I'm Mesa! I'm a playful pup with adorable white mitten paws, floppy ears, and a fluffy tail. When I get excited, I love to hop around like a bunny and sometimes get the zoomies, racing through the house! I came all the way from New Mexico to find my forever family. My mom was a Pitbull mix and my dad was a Boxer. I'm doing wonderfully with potty training and use the doorbells to let my foster parents know when I need to go out. I'm also working on enjoying my kennel with fun games, and I sleep in it at night in my foster parents' bedroom. I've mastered "sit" and am learning "stay," "place," "come," and "down," as well as recall, impulse control, and focus. Treats and toys are my biggest motivators!
Ideal Home
I live with a 4-year-old girl, a 13-year-old boy with special needs, and a 14-year-old girl who loves to snuggle. I haven't met any cats yet. I also live with three dogs: a laid-back 2-year-old large male Pitbull, a 10-year-old large female Pitbull who prefers I don't get in her face, and a 4-year-old medium Pitbull mix who loves to play with me, even when I get energetic. I can be a bit dominant when scared and submissive when comfortable. I love walks and playing tag with my dog friends! My dream home would have a big yard for running and playing, along with other furry siblings, kids, and lots of toys!

I am a healthy pup with no known health conditions.
Training & Support
I am easy to train and motivated by treats and toys! I'm working on "stay," "place," "come," "down," recall, impulse control, and focus. I am also learning to love my kennel, and my foster parents are making it fun with games.
