Skipper

Meet Skipper! If you're searching for a sporty and energetic canine companion to join your active lifestyle, Skipper is your girl! She's been with us for over two years, patiently waiting for her forever home. Skipper arrived with a leg injury that sadly required amputation, but she's fully healed and has blossomed into a charming pup with a wonderfully developed personality for those she trusts.

Skipper is a striking black and white tripod who absolutely loves a game of fetch! She's the perfect playmate for anyone who enjoys a good round of catch, and she's definitely a hit with baseball and softball enthusiasts. After a good play session, Skipper loves to snuggle up close with her people. She's also making great progress with basic commands like "sit," "down," and "leave it."

Ideal Home

Skipper would thrive in a home where she can be the only pet, as she is not good with other dogs or cats. She may take a little time to warm up to new people, but with a few treats and a favorite ball, she'll be your best friend in no time!

Ongoing Health

Skipper has fully healed from her leg amputation.

Training & Support

Skipper is working on her leash manners but does wonderfully with a head halter. She responds well to commands and is motivated by treats, which are great for redirecting her attention.
