Buddy

Meet Buddy! This handsome 18-month-old Terrier mix weighs about 40 pounds and is brimming with love to give. Buddy is a happy and sweet boy who is ready to be your loyal companion. He enjoys playing and spending time with his people, and after a fun day of activities, he's content to relax and be part of the family. Buddy gets along wonderfully with children and is friendly with other dogs when properly introduced, even enjoying canine friends to play with. While he hasn't lived with cats, he has been tested and shown no aggression towards them.

Ideal Home

Buddy would thrive in a home where he can be an active and involved member of the family. He loves to run, play, and go on adventures, but also enjoys relaxing with his people.

Ongoing Health

Buddy has previously tested positive for a tick-borne disease but has successfully completed treatment and is doing very well. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on all his veterinary care.

Training & Support

Buddy is both kennel and house trained. He may mark when adjusting to a new environment, but this typically improves once he settles in and learns the routine. He is a pleasure to walk and does great on a leash, making him an excellent companion for daily walks and outdoor excursions.

Transporation

Buddy is currently being fostered in La Feria, Texas. He can be transported to an approved out-of-state adopter, and this transportation is included in his adoption fee within Texas.
