D.J.

Meet D.J.! D.J. and his seven siblings were found hiding under some brush near the Colibri neighborhood in Bucerias when they were just six weeks old. They were so scared and tiny, but with love and patience, they all blossomed into playful, loving pups! D.J. is still the most timid of the bunch. He is a sweet, gentle soul who desperately wants to trust, but the shelter environment makes him a little unsure. With patience, kindness, and a calm home, this boy will absolutely blossom. He does wonderfully with other dogs and would benefit from having a confident canine friend to look up to and learn from. D.J. deserves a family who sees past his nerves and gives him the chance to shine. He has been waiting for someone gentle enough to help him feel safe.

Ideal Home

D.J. would do best in a quieter home without young children. He thrives with other dogs and would love to have a confident canine friend to learn from.

D.J. is a healthy medium-sized adult dog, estimated to weigh around 45 lbs.

Training & Support

D.J. is a shy and sensitive boy who will need a patient and kind adopter to help him build his confidence. He is great with other dogs and learns from them.

Transportation

D.J. is currently located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Approved adopters can be matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new pup at the airport to welcome them home. If a Canadian flight companion is unavailable during the summer months, your pup may need to fly into the US and be picked up at the Peace Arch Park at the border. Wags can help facilitate this process.
