Meet Amanda Welch (Oakside Shih Tzus). Amanda Welch is from Maryland and breeds AKC Shih Tzu out of her home. She specializes in "free range puppies" who get to play, explore and wander about both indoors and outdoors-- enjoying all of the adventures that puppyhood has to offer! Puppies frequently play in the grass around our blueberry bushes, frolic with our free range chickens, and scamper after us as we work in the garden. The opportunity to play and roam freely much of the time develops their motor skills, confidence and overall health throughout their first formative weeks. Puppies are raised by all members of the family-- including children, and are well socialized and well handled. Puppies are familiar with interacting with larger dogs and other Shih Tzu. They are familiar with going potty outside, being crated at night and coming when they are called. Amanda strives to make sure the first few months of your new family member's life are as happy and active as possible! Mothers, as well as puppies, are fed a high quality diet free of corn and soy.
