Kashoo

My name is Kashoo! Yes, like someone sneezed and decided it was a name. I'm a 3-5 (ish) year old Shepherd mix, and I'm a large breed, around 70 lbs. I take up space, but in a majestic, decorative-throw-pillow-come-to-life kind of way. I'm a sweet and smart boy who knows sit, wait, and lay down. I'm generally calm, but I do get excited during zoomies or when I see something particularly interesting. I'm respectful of people and don't steal sandwiches (well, mostly!). I love going for walks and playing with well-matched dog friends, but I can have a big reaction towards other dogs when on leash. I need someone confident and strong to help me work on my leash manners and engagement, as my big feelings can sometimes get the best of me around other dogs, squirrels, or cars. I'm not mean, just frustrated that I can't greet everyone I want to! I'm currently being fostered by some amazing humans who say I'm an absolute prince inside the home – respectful, calm, snuggly, and sweet! I'm also great at chilling at home while you're at work.

Ideal Home

Kashoo would thrive in a home with a yard and a couch, and a family to call his own. He might do well with another respectful female dog. Homes with cats may not be a good fit due to his prey drive.
