Henry

Meet Henry, a charming 6-year-old neutered male Catahoula mix who weighs around 38lbs. This sweet gentleman is past his boisterous puppy days and is ready to settle into a loving forever home. Henry is a well-behaved and cuddly companion who would be happiest with a comfy bed, plenty of toys to enjoy, and lots of affection.

Ideal Home

Henry would thrive in a home that can offer him a safe and loving environment. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would love to have a canine sibling to play with. He's a bit submissive and greets dogs of all sizes with a smile and a wagging tail. While we don't have information about his compatibility with cats, he has done wonderfully with a 9-year-old human and would likely do well with older children due to his gentle nature.

Ongoing Health

Henry is in good health. He does require a safe space and extra reassurance during thunderstorms, as loud noises can be a bit scary for him.

Training & Support

Henry is a well-trained boy! He is crate and potty trained, and he walks nicely on a leash. He has not shown any destructive behavior, aside from his toys, in his foster home. His charming bow-legged gait is just part of his unique appeal!

Transportation

Henry is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Please note that transports run every few weeks, and he will be placed on the next available transport after approval.
