Poppy Lou the Panda Bear Sweetheart

Poppy Lou is a 8-month-old, 35 lb bundle of panda-bear-like cuteness! With her incredibly sweet disposition, floppy ears, and gentle nature, she's sure to melt your heart. Poppy Lou is affectionate, easygoing, and already has a wonderful foundation for an amazing family dog. She's done wonderfully with children ages 3-16 and is also dog-friendly, enjoying the company of her foster siblings with respectful play. While she can be a bit shy in new situations, she quickly warms up and shows her loving side. She's crate trained, potty trained, walks well on leash, knows "sit," and takes treats ever so gently.

Ideal Home

Poppy Lou would be happiest in a home with a backyard where she can continue to explore, play, and grow at her own pace.

Ongoing Health

Poppy Lou is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also been spayed and tested for heartworm.

Training & Support

Poppy Lou is crate trained, potty trained, and walks fairly well on leash. She is treat motivated and knows how to sit. Continued practice as she grows and gains confidence will be beneficial.

• Adoption fee is $1,000.00 and includes all vetting, transport, a Martingale collar, and lifetime microchip registration.
• You will meet your pet through a video call before adoption finalization.
• An $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs.

Transporation

Poppy Lou is currently fostered in Texas. Transport is available nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
