Orzo (Noodle Pups) 🇨🇦

Meet Orzo! This approximately 9-month-old, 35 lb pup (Mom was a Beagle/Hound mix, Dad is a mystery!) is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate soul who truly blossoms once he feels safe and secure. Orzo has a low to moderate energy level and absolutely adores quiet walks, especially through wooded trails, and spending time in the great outdoors. He's a fantastic companion for other dogs and is incredibly respectful of smaller animals, including cats, chickens, ducks, and quail, showing no signs of a strong prey drive. Orzo is already crate-trained and making wonderful progress with house training. He walks beautifully on a loose leash, and his personality is best described as gentle, sensitive, dainty, and incredibly loyal – he's happiest right by your side.

Ideal Home

Orzo is looking for a patient family willing to let him settle in at his own pace. A quieter home, a fenced yard, or access to peaceful walking trails would suit him beautifully. At this stage of his journey, we feel Orzo would be happiest in a quiet adult home, or one with older, calm, dog-savvy children who understand that trust takes time.

Ongoing Health

Orzo is up to date on his vaccinations, has been neutered, is Heartworm negative, and is taking monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Orzo is learning all about life as an indoor family dog and is making great progress with house training. He settles nicely in his crate, knows "sit," and is working on "stay." Like any puppy, he enjoys chewing, but he's easily redirected to an appropriate toy or bone and is eager to please. A calm, confident canine companion may help continue building his confidence, but it isn't a requirement.
