Pleased to meet you! I'm Alexander, an affectionate and rambunctious, 1-year-old, 65-pound, sweet Shepherd/Hound mix boy with a ton of potential! I'm incredible at home and love nothing more than family! Strangers can be a little scary, so it takes a minute for me to relax and become my amazing, goofy self. Trust me, it's worth the minute to get to know me.
I am a disco ball with paws - I don't just bring the party... I AM the party! I am great with kids, as a matter of fact, my toddler human foster sibling is my best friend (yes, I do occasionally knock him over, but it's definitely an accident). I enjoy other dogs and would love a kind fur-sibling of similar energy in my forever home. I'm also okay with dog-savvy cats.
I'm not just a pretty face, either. I'm also a brainiac! It might take me a minute to focus, but once you have my attention - there is absolutely nothing I can't learn! I am potty trained and use a doggie door to let myself out to potty, and I am kennel trained in a large kennel and settle in just fine; although when you get home I am definitely going to say HI and ask about your day!
