Lily - Forever Foster wanted "Deaf"

Lily is an 8-year-old, 79-pound sweetheart who is deaf and looking for a very special home. She was adopted from our rescue five years ago and deeply loved her person, but sadly, he passed away. After a period of grieving, Lily returned to us. She has a remarkable capacity for love and forms incredibly deep bonds once she trusts someone. Lily loves to be close to her person, often sleeping pressed against them and always wanting to be touching. When she feels safe and happy, she has the sweetest smile that will melt your heart.

Ideal Home

Lily must be the only pet in the home. A quieter environment would be ideal, perhaps with someone who works from home, is retired, or is willing to provide her with consistent companionship.

Ongoing Health

Lily is deaf and has separation anxiety. She may bark when she feels worried, stressed, or uncertain when left alone.

Training & Support

Lily's separation anxiety is described as manageable with commitment, consistency, structure, support, and the right tools. A professional trainer has offered guidance and support to Lily's future adopter, and the rescue will cover the cost of this support. As part of our Forever Foster Program, the rescue will also cover all approved medical expenses beyond routine wellness care for the rest of Lily's life.
