Poncho

Prince Poncho is a sweet, gentle little dog looking for a loving home to call his own. This adorable boy is estimated to be 5 years old and has a personality that quickly wins people over. He loves human companionship and is happiest curled up in a lap, watching TV with his favorite person nearby. Poncho is very expressive and "talkative" in his own way; he loves interacting with his people and seems to genuinely listen when you talk to him. Despite recent challenges, Poncho remains incredibly kind, sweet, and eager to connect with people. He is the kind of dog who forms a deep bond with his people and becomes a devoted best friend.

Ideal Home

Poncho would thrive in a patient, loving home that will give him time to settle in and decompress. He is good with children and friendly with other dogs, especially calm and respectful ones.

Ongoing Health

Poncho is currently receiving care for flea-related skin and coat issues and is expected to continue improving with proper veterinary care, good nutrition, and lots of love.

Training & Support

Poncho can be a little shy when meeting new people and may need a little time to warm up. He does experience some anxiety. Another calm canine companion may help boost his confidence, but it is not required.
