Meet Baby! Baby is a 1-year-old, 40 lb, 16-inch (floor to shoulder) dog with a medium-high energy level. She's great with dogs, cat-curious, and good with kids given slow, proper introductions.
Baby is eager to find her forever family! She's learned to be more confident and is okay with alone time. She loves domestic life, discovering beds, couches, chairs, and laps. Baby is incredibly agile but still mastering furniture lounging. She loves to climb high to watch the world and get pets. She's the perfect mix of playful energy, agility, curiosity, and pure love.
Ideal Home
Baby would thrive in a home that offers plenty of love, patience, and treats. She needs a family that embraces her inner lapdog and wants to play every day! She will alert you to visitors but quickly welcomes them once she knows they are friends.
Ongoing Health
Baby is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed.
Training & Support
Baby is eager to learn and easy to train. She's still getting used to house rules but is learning quickly. If she jumps on a table, it's out of curiosity, not malice. Gentle guidance off and reminders that she gets pets with all four paws on the floor are effective. She's doing great with house training and is good if let out regularly or if cues are watched. She likes chilling in an open crate and relaxing in an x-pen. She has been trusted to roam free and has done wonderfully, especially if temptations are put away. She walks beautifully on a leash and is practicing sitting still before heading out. She knows "Sit" and "Shake" and has excellent recall.
