Hunter

Hi there! I'm Hunter, a handsome brindle Shepherd/Plott Hound mix with a heart of gold. I came to Pets and Vets USA through no fault of my own, due to a marriage problem my previous owners were experiencing. I'm a quiet and housebroken boy who loves to play and spend time with my people. My favorite activities include romping in a fenced yard, going for long walks, watching the world go by from a window, and cuddling with my favorite toys.

Ideal Home

I'm a big boy, so while I'm good with kids, I think older children would be the best fit for my forever home. I would love a home with a 6-foot fence, but I'm also a good boy and can adapt to condo or townhome living as long as I get my regular walks.

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy adult dog, and I've been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

I'm a smart cookie and am treat-motivated, which means I learn new commands quickly! I already know "Come," "Sit," "Down," "Watch," "Leave it," and "Paw." I'm housebroken and well-behaved.
