Boppy is a 33-pound lady with a heart of gold, believed to be a Plott Hound and Mountain Cur mix. She arrived at Horse Creek Wildlife from a local shelter on November 14, 2023, after a tough start to life as a stray at a garbage dump. We suspect she may have had several litters before being rescued, making her journey a true "rags to riches" story! Now that she's safe, we're eager to find her a loving forever home. Boppy can be a bit shy and apprehensive when meeting new people, but with a little patience, her curiosity and sweet nature shine through. She loves to explore and has a blast playing with other dogs her size in our exercise areas. Could you be the devoted family Boppy is dreaming of? She promises to fill your life with joy!
Ideal Home
Boppy would thrive in a home where she can take her time to warm up to new people. She enjoys the company of other dogs her size.
Ongoing Health
Boppy has been spayed or neutered and is up-to-date on all vaccinations. She receives monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and all her medical needs have been addressed prior to adoption.
Training & Support
Boppy is still learning to trust new people, so a patient and understanding approach will help her continue to blossom.
