Butter aka Butterfly

Meet Butter, a 1-year-old sweetheart who her foster family affectionately calls Butterfly. This gentle, laid-back girl is pure sweetness in a cute puppy package. Butter's favorite thing is being close to her people, whether she's sunbathing, snuggling on the couch, or showering you with kisses. She has a calm and loving personality, making her a wonderful shadow.

Butter has been living with other dogs and cats and has been wonderfully sweet with everyone. She particularly enjoys following her foster dog sibling and learning from her.

Ideal Home

Butter is looking for a loving family to support her through her recovery and cheer her on as she heals.

Ongoing Health

Butter has hip dysplasia and has already undergone one surgery, with another scheduled for August. The Minnis Sanctuary is committed to covering the costs of her recommended veterinary care to ensure her long-term comfort and quality of life. Despite her condition, Butter remains playful, curious, and as loving as any happy puppy.

Training & Support

Butter is a smart girl who picks up routines quickly. She rides well in the car, knows basic commands, and walks beautifully on a leash. She continues to blossom every day and will thrive with continued love and support.
