Shakeira is a happy lady who knows how to do the Aussie wiggle! She's a smart and energetic Australian Shepherd who loves her people. As a herding breed, Australian Shepherds can be protective of their families and belongings, so it’s important to do your research if you’re not familiar with the breed.

Ideal Home

Shakeira would thrive in a home that understands the needs of a herding breed. We are unsure how she would do with children or cats.

Ongoing Health

Shakeira is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped.

Training & Support

As a herding breed, Shakeira may exhibit protective behaviors. Researching the Australian Shepherd breed is highly recommended.

• With an approved application, a deposit can hold your new best friend for up to 1 week. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, and is not applied to the adoption fee.

Transporation

Shakeira is located at PAWS in Jacksonville, IL. You can meet her on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM.
