Meet Todd! This sweet, goofy Hound mix has a big heart, a happy spirit, and a personality that makes everyone around him smile. He came to us from a high-kill shelter in South Carolina, and he is now getting his second chance at the life he truly deserves – one filled with love, safety, and plenty of couch cuddles after fun adventures. At approximately 1.5 to 2 years old, Todd is the perfect blend of young energy and growing maturity. He still has some silly puppy-like behaviors, but he is eager to please, responds very well to gentle correction, and truly wants to be a good boy. Todd is wonderfully social and does great with other dogs. He enjoys meeting new people and approaches life with an easygoing, friendly attitude. He loves being outside, exploring, sniffing, and taking in the world, then happily settling in beside his people when it's time to relax. He is currently working on crate training, seems to be mostly potty trained, and is already showing what a loyal, well-rounded companion he is going to become. Todd is the kind of dog who doesn't just join a family, he quickly becomes part of it. His joyful personality and gentle nature make him an instant favorite with everyone he meets.
