Meet Lainey, a beautiful girl with a heart and soul bigger than her body! Lainey was brought in as a stray in November 2025, and she’s estimated to be around three years old. She is currently being fostered in Addison, Texas, and has truly bloomed under her foster’s care. Her personality is that of a cozy house hippo; she loves to sleep with her stuffed animal babies on the couch, taking short breaks for zoomies with a chew bone. She adores following her foster's two-year-old around the house and is great with children, especially little ones. Lainey has also proven to be dog and cat friendly! She enjoys long walks and walks beautifully on a leash, staying right by your side. She rarely barks and is usually very quiet. Potty training is going well, and she hasn’t had an accident in a long time!
Ideal Home
Lainey would prefer a home with calmer pets, as she can get nervous around loud or energetic dogs and may try to hide. She is unfazed by loud noises from people or toddler tantrums.
Ongoing Health
Lainey is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. This treatment is fully covered by Mutts N Such Rescue. All of our dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, deworming, flea/heartworm prevention, and have a current fecal analysis. A health exam and certificate from a veterinarian will be completed within 10 days of adoption.
Training & Support
Lainey is doing very well with potty training and has had no accidents recently. She walks nicely on a leash and rarely barks.

Transportation
Lainey is currently being fostered in Texas. Our dogs are fostered in Texas or Pennsylvania and are available for transport to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
