Eden is one of six puppies born to an Akbash mother on a Central Texas ranch surrounded by goats, longhorn cattle, and working livestock guardian dogs. Her father is likely an Akbash or Great Pyrenees. She may be adopted as a family companion or as a future livestock guardian.

Ideal Home

Eden will need a home prepared to provide appropriate training and supervision. She has been exposed to goats and cattle, but not chickens. She has had some exposure to barn cats and would need careful introductions and supervision to live with house cats.

Ongoing Health

Eden has received three rounds of vaccinations, deworming, and monthly preventives.

Training & Support

As a puppy, Eden will need continued crate-training and potty-training. Livestock guardian puppy behavior also requires guidance as puppies learn that livestock are not playmates.
