Hassie is a delightful 2-year-old, 41lb cattle dog mix who's ready for anything! She'll happily convince you she's game for every adventure, then be the first one curled up beside you on the couch afterward. Hassie is smart, loyal, and loves to be with her people, but she's more of a professional cuddle buddy than a workaholic. Her story is one of resilience; she was once at risk in a North Texas shelter before a rescue gave her a second chance. She's dog-friendly, crate trained, and potty trained, always eager to join you on hikes, road trips, patio lunches, or wherever life takes you. When the day's excitement winds down, she's perfectly content to relax by your side.
Ideal Home
Hassie has natural herding instincts and can get a bit enthusiastic about "organizing" fast-moving little humans. Therefore, she would be happiest in a home with older children or adults who understand and appreciate her breed's special quirks. She is also looking for a cat-free home, as cats are a definite "no" for her.
