Apollo

Apollo, also known as Paul, is a handsome 1.5-year-old Black Lab/Heeler mix with a heart full of love to give! He's a good young boy who, unfortunately, was surrendered because his family realized his energy levels were more than they could manage. They've made the tough but loving decision to find him a home where he can truly thrive. Apollo is eager to please and with the right guidance, we know he'll blossom into an even more amazing companion.

Ideal Home

Apollo would thrive in an active household that can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to keep his energetic nature in check. A home with a securely fenced yard would be ideal. Due to his exuberance and tendency to jump, he would do best in a home without young children.

Ongoing Health

Apollo is neutered and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He has no known allergies. He is okay in the car, though he can sometimes get car sick.

Training & Support

Apollo is crate-trained and knows how to walk on a leash, though he could benefit from more consistent practice. His recall needs a little work, and he's still learning to resist chewing on things when left alone in his crate, so keeping him in a safe, clear space when unsupervised is recommended. Consistency and positive reinforcement training will be key to helping him succeed.
