Queen Bessie is a sweet and intuitive 4-year-old bull terrier mix, weighing about 75lbs. She absolutely adores booty scratches and snuggling on the couch. Bessie is a very considerate girl, always checking in on her humans and showing concern if they seem unwell. She also enjoys some good roughhousing and is best friends with Draco, another dog. They can play for hours and then settle down for a long nap together. Bessie was rescued from a county shelter where she was at risk due to overcrowding. She's overcome past difficulties and is now searching for a loving, forever home.
Ideal Home
Bessie would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of cuddles and playtime. Her compatibility with cats and children is unknown.

Bessie is kennel and potty trained. She has a wonderful doggy friend, Draco, and they entertain each other, which is great for keeping them both happy and tired! Queen Bessie is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can take her to your state or a neighboring state. We coordinate with third-party ground transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates. Please be prepared to use one of these services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
