Tinkerbell is a very special girl, believed to be a Pittie/Cattle Dog mix, around 1-2 years old and weighing 43 lbs. She can be a bit reserved at first, observing new people with a quiet curiosity. But once she decides you're a friend, her true, incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loving nature shines through. She thrives on connection and enjoys being close to her trusted humans, whether it's snuggling on the couch, being held like a baby, or following you from room to room. Tinkerbell's confidence blossoms significantly when another dog is around. She becomes more comfortable exploring, interacting with people, and participating in activities. She loves having canine companions and is gentle and playful. She has also shown to be respectful and comfortable around cats. Tinkerbell has had positive interactions with children aged 8-14, showing tolerance and sweetness.
Ideal Home
Tinkerbell would do best in a home with a backyard rather than an apartment. A home with another dog is a non-negotiable requirement, as she truly blossoms and feels more secure with a canine friend.
Ongoing Health
Tinkerbell is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies. She is on flea and heartworm prevention, with a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments. A health certificate deeming her healthy for travel is included.
Training & Support
Tinkerbell is crate trained and potty trained, and exhibits wonderful house manners. She enjoys playing with toys and participating in gentle activities.

Tinkerbell is currently in Texas. Transport is available nationwide via our rescue-run, USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will be able to track her journey in real time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
