Rover is an approximately 2-month-old puppy, weighing around 8.2 pounds. We suspect he might be a Pit Bull and Lab mix, but as with many rescue pups, it's always our best guess! What we do know for sure is that this little guy is incredibly handsome and is one of the many puppies in urgent need of a loving forever home. Shelters in the areas Rover came from are facing heartbreaking overcrowding, and puppies like him are at risk. By choosing to adopt Rover, you're not only saving his life but also creating space for another dog to be rescued.

Rover is the epitome of a happy puppy! He's playful, affectionate, curious, cuddly, and remarkably well-adjusted for his young age. With his sleek black coat, charming white chest, and adorable little white socks, he looks like he's always dressed to impress. His sweet face and soulful puppy eyes are guaranteed to steal your heart.

This little guy absolutely adores people and showers his humans with puppy kisses. When he's not snuggling, you'll likely find him engaged in a spirited game of tug-of-war with his favorite toys! Whether he's playing with his people or challenging one of his puppy siblings, Rover is always up for some fun. He also loves to wrestle and romp with the other puppies before settling in for a well-deserved nap.

Like all young puppies, Rover is still learning about the world. He'll need a family dedicated to training, socialization, establishing a routine, and providing plenty of patience. Setting clear structure, boundaries, and positive experiences early on will help him grow into the wonderful adult dog he's already showing signs of becoming. We require adopters to begin crate training immediately to assist with potty training, confidence building, and establishing healthy habits.

Training & Support

Rover is a young puppy and will require consistent training, socialization, and a routine. Crate training upon arrival is mandatory.

• The adoption fee is $1200 and includes vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high-quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport, and years of love and companionship).
• Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.

Transporation

We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track your pet's journey in real-time, receive photo updates, and connect with other adopters through a private Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
