Emi

Meet Emi! She's a delightful 1-year-old female Great Pyrenees mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. Emi is affectionate, loves being around people and other dogs, and her intelligence and loyalty shine through. She's a happy girl who enjoys having plenty of outdoor space to explore and zoom around.

Ideal Home

Emi would thrive with a family or individual who understands large breeds and can provide her with the attention, exercise, and love she deserves. She's still young and eager to learn and grow with her new family. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We prefer a visible fence and typically avoid same-sex households as Great Pyrenees dogs often do not do well with same-sex companions.

Ongoing Health

Emi is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heartworm and lyme tested, and microchipped. She has a current health certificate.

Training & Support

Emi is house-trained. Great Pyrenees can be prone to barking and may be overly protective; they cannot be reliably off-leash. A basic obedience course must be completed within six months of adoption as part of the adoption contract.

• Your vet and two references will be called.
• A virtual home visit will be conducted.
• An adoption contract will be signed and an adoption fee paid. The adoption fee for adult dogs over 12 months is $500.
• Proof of a basic obedience course completion is required within six months of adoption.

Transporation

Emi is located at our farm. We show animals by appointment only, typically outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
