Cowboy is a brave 2-year-old survivor who has overcome immense hardship. He was found abandoned and tied to a pole, suffering from severe lacerations. It was discovered that Cowboy had been used as a bait dog, a victim of unimaginable cruelty. Despite his traumatic past, Cowboy is now safe, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and receiving necessary medical care. He is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm and is on the road to recovery. Cowboy is cautious with other dogs and may do best as an only pet. He also takes time to warm up to men. This resilient boy deserves a loving and secure home where he can finally feel safe and cherished.
