Bella, the Girl Who Never Stopped Hoping

Bella is a 1-year-old, 55lb German Shepherd with a heart full of hope and a spirit ready for adventure! She was found tied to a post, but her past heartbreak has only made her stronger and more loving. Bella is a delightful mix of affectionate sweetheart and playful puppy, always ready for a game or a good belly rub. She's intelligent, eager to please, and thrives with exercise and fun training. She walks nicely on a harness, knows "sit" and "stay," and is working on not jumping when excited. Bella is also fully housetrained and loves her crate, which she happily fills with treats and toys! Her absolute favorite thing is a frozen peanut butter Kong.

Ideal Home

Bella is looking for an active home with someone who understands she'll need a little time to adjust. She would thrive with continued training, daily exercise, and plenty of mental stimulation. Due to her tendency to chase cats, she will need to be housed separately from them.

Ongoing Health

Bella is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention. She is healthy and ready for her new life.

Training & Support

Bella is learning not to jump, and she may chew things when bored, so she'll do best with structure, engaging toys, and plenty of activity. Her intelligence and eagerness to please make her a joy to train.

Transporation

Bella is an "out of town pet" and is not at the current location. Our rescue is based in Houston, and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston. We arrange transport for approved adopters. Transport involves dogs being moved via scheduled air-conditioned/heated vans from our ranch in Fulshear, TX, to a location near you. You will be included in a group chat to track your dog during transport and will be given an exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Drivers will provide updates regarding delays or early arrivals. Dogs are crated during transport and stop for breaks.
