About Billy
Meet Billy! He's a 10-year-old, neutered, chipped, and up-to-date on all his shots. Billy is absolutely hilarious and possesses a zest for life that's truly enviable! He brings smiles to everyone's faces daily and is a pure joy to be around. Billy adores spending time outdoors on warm days and requires a yard to explore. He's a friendly guy who gets along well with other dogs and would love a canine companion to share his adventures. We're recommending a home with children aged 12 and up for this wonderful companion.
Billy is a friend to all, whether they be human, canine, or feline. He loves going for walks, whether it's in the park, the forest, or just around the neighborhood. He's an adventurous eater who enjoys all foods, including many vegetables and fruits, and even lettuce (especially with ranch dressing!). Billy isn't a fan of the cold, but he absolutely loves a good retro sweater vest! He's reliably house-trained and his meerkat impression is spot-on! His extra ankle skin jiggles in a wonderfully amusing way on walks and is also stretchy and fun to play with during TV time. He recently had a dental procedure with 12 extractions, meaning fewer teeth to worry about in the future! He also boasts excellent, meaty feet that make a dramatic slapping sound when he gallops, reminiscent of the great buffalo herds of the American west. His energy level is comparable to a middle-aged man who exercises regularly. As a bonus, his foster mom is a pet sitter, so he comes with built-in pet-sitting privileges! You'll also receive multiple nicknames for him, including, but not limited to: Billy Bob, Bill Billman, BB Netanbarkhu, Buster, Beetle, Bees Knees, and Body-by-Bill. Be prepared for him to vocally express his excitement on walks for much of the duration. His vocalizations can sometimes get stuck in the "on" position due to excitement, hunger, boredom, unmet petting needs, the perceived presence of food, or simply the need to hear himself. He has a habit of digging in couches, beds, and blankets in search of elusive imaginary badgers. When sunbathing outdoors, he can be mistaken for a redwood log. His "weiner" hangs low, and at some point, an anti-chafing weeny sling might be in order.
Ideal Home
