My name is Gus, and I'm a handsome 89-pound Bouvier des Flandres boy born on June 16, 2023. My original family had to move and couldn't take me, so I went back to my breeder in Texas before finding a temporary home with an elderly gentleman in Michigan. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to provide me with the exercise and freedom I need, especially since he didn't have a fenced yard and I could only go out on a leash. Now I'm looking for my forever family! I'm well-trained and obedient, and I get along great with people, older children, and other dogs. I'm a super lover once I get to know you and enjoy pets, hugs, and kisses! I'm also smart and eager to please, making me a fantastic addition to the right home.

Ideal Home

I would do best in a home that preferably has previous or current experience with the Bouvier des Flandres breed. A completely fenced and secure yard is a must for me. While I am good with young adults, I shouldn't be left unsupervised with young children due to my size. I do not get along well with cats.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, and ready to go!

Training & Support

I don't really know how to play with toys or seem interested in dog treats. I'm very well-behaved, but I am cautious when meeting new people and need to be introduced properly – no forcing! I'm house-trained and crate-trained.
