Buttercup

Please welcome Buttercup to SAAP!

This pretty girl is a 45 lb, 8 month old, lab mix. She was surrendered to the shelter by a family for being too hyper. Which, well, she's an 8 month old lab, so I am sure what else they expected.

Buttercup does have a lot of energy, but she's sweet and just needs a new family that is willing to work with her. She LOVES people, kids, and dogs, wants to play, will snuggle, and definitely wants to learn.

We have 7 other older dogs here and Buttercup leaves them be. She seems to sense that they're old, crochety, and no fun whatsoever. Once we brought 3 month old foster pups home, however, she has been having the time of life chewing on their heads, tails, and floppy ears. So if you have another high ernegy young dog in your house, and want to bring Buttercup home, please be prepared for pandemonium and chaos, but they will 100% have a blast doing it.

Buttercup loves toys, chasing the ball, and going on walks. She has some growing to do still, so likely to be a large adult, but is already spayed, microchipped, and UTD on vaccines and flea/heartworm prevention. She is also crate-trained and housebroken.
