Wilson came to us looking like someone loved him. His coat was clean, his collar looked brand new, and he carried himself like a dog who had known a home. Then no one came looking. Ever since, this happy, openhearted boy has been waiting for the family who will love him next. Wilson is a brindle pit mix, around 3 years old, with a heart as big as his smile. He is playful, affectionate, and endlessly social, the kind of dog who greets you with a wagging tail and decides on the spot that you are his new best friend. He loves attention, he loves to play, and he has that perfect blend of goofiness and sweetness that makes him impossible not to adore. Wilson does not understand why he is still waiting. He just keeps meeting every new person with the same hopeful heart, ready to give it to whoever is lucky enough to take him home. Someone loved him once. He is ready for someone to love him again. Wilson would fit beautifully into a home that wants a loyal, joyful companion for walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles on the couch. He does well with older children.
