Meet Clyde! This 3-year-old, 50-pound pittie mix is a truly gentle and selfless soul. He was found as a stray in Houston and, even when struggling, would let other dogs eat before him. Thankfully, a kind volunteer alerted us to his situation, and he's now in a loving foster home, ready to find his forever family. Clyde is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.
Ideal Home
Clyde is a dog-friendly boy who lives harmoniously with another dog in his foster home. He's also cat-friendly and has shown no interest in feline friends. While he hasn't lived with children, he's been tested and is known to be very sweet and gentle. However, he can be a little shy when meeting new people, so a home with older children who can be patient and gentle with him would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Clyde is up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered.
Training & Support
Clyde walks well on a leash, especially with a confident canine companion by his side. He's been exposed to coffee shops and handled them well with his doggie friend. He's fully potty trained and will alert you when he needs to go out. Clyde is also crate trained and happily uses his crate when his foster mom is away. Given his laid-back personality, he may also be comfortable being free-roaming. His foster mom notes that patience is key when he's meeting new people, as he can be a bit shy initially. He truly is a big softy who just wants love and affection.
