Charlie

Meet Charlie, a 10-month-old Border Collie/Kelpie mix with a heart full of love to give! Charlie came to us as a stray and was severely underweight, clearly having had a rough start. Thankfully, he's blossomed beautifully since arriving, showing a playful and loving spirit that has charmed everyone here. Despite past hardships and a wary initial approach to strangers, once Charlie trusts you, he's an absolute lover boy. His gorgeous chocolate coloring truly lives up to his name, and his fantastic attitude is just as sweet!

Ideal Home

Charlie needs a patient owner experienced with nervous and reactive dogs who can help him feel secure and loved. Due to his timidity and reactivity to other dogs, he must be the only animal in the home. We also will not be adopting him out to any families with children.

Ongoing Health

Charlie has received his first round of vaccinations.

Training & Support

Charlie is a young pup from working breeds and will require an active owner who can provide plenty of physical and mental stimulation to prevent boredom. He also appears to need some foundational training to help him learn good manners.
