Hello, my name is Bean! I'm a sweet and handsome puppy with a charmingly pouty face, expressive eyes, and adorable eyebrows that give me a wonderfully quirky look. My big paws make me a little clumsy, but it just adds to my silly charm! I'm a playful and attentive pup who loves to be the center of attention. You'll often find me proudly collecting my toys in my bed. I adore being near my humans and check in frequently, sometimes even falling asleep sitting up because I just can't bear to miss any of the action! I came all the way from Texas with my brother, who is currently with another foster family.
Ideal Home
Bean is mostly potty trained, but can sometimes forget to ask to go out when he's in play mode. He sleeps through the night in his kennel and would be a good dog for a first-time puppy owner. He enjoys playing with pre-teen neighbors and warms up quickly to new friends, though he always checks in with his foster parents. He's learning to coexist with cats and doesn't show any prey drive issues. While he doesn't live with another dog currently, he has a lot of play energy and might enjoy the company of a canine sibling. He's generally submissive around other dogs but can be talkative when he wants more attention. He's happy to say hello or mind his own business when meeting other dogs on walks.

Training & Support
Bean knows "sit" and loves to show off this trick! He's learning to walk on a leash, though sometimes his "mastiff side" shows, and he'd prefer to play indoors or in the yard. He's also working on "leave it" and differentiating between toys and other objects. He's attentive and smart and would do well in a training or obedience course once he's a bit older and more confident with new sights and smells. He loves treats and food but also thrives on human attention, which helps him focus. He's teething and enjoys chewing on toys, stuffies, bones, and harder plastic toys. He also likes playing tug-of-war.
