Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman is an 11-month-old, 50 lb, neutered male Pitbull mix with kind eyes, a sweet face, and adorable speckle markings on his chest. He was born in his foster home in Houston and is expected to be a large adult once fully grown. Morgan is a happy boy with a gentle nature who loves to be close to his people. While he can be a little cautious initially, he quickly warms up and becomes affectionate and eager for love. He enjoys playing with his siblings and appreciates a calm environment.

Ideal Home

Morgan hasn't been around children yet, but we expect he will do well with kids who understand how to respect a dog's boundaries. We have no history with cats. He would thrive in a home where someone is present more often than not, as puppies need plenty of companionship and structure. Morgan gets along beautifully with other dogs and enjoys the company of canine friends.

Training & Support

Morgan is progressing well with potty training and has been introduced to a crate. He is not yet leash trained, so his new family should be ready to gently guide him as he learns about walks and exploring the world. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, he will grow into a confident, well-adjusted companion.

Transporation

Morgan is being fostered in Houston, Texas. He can transport to the Petfinder-listed city once an adopter has completed the screening process, virtual home visit, and reference checks. Transports run every few weeks and he will be on the next available transport once approved.
