Krockett

Krockett is a handsome male Labrador mix who is approximately 1 year old and weighs around 55 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024 and is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. Krockett is a happy, smiling, and incredibly loving boy who is always eager to please. He's known for his loyalty, politeness, and intelligence. Krockett is playful, joyful, and full of energy, making him the perfect companion for an active family that loves spending time outdoors. He's already crate trained, leash trained, and enjoys car rides!

Ideal Home

Krockett would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures. He needs a family with an open mind and understanding regarding the needs of rescued animals, including patience for them to learn and grow. Experience with dog behavior and training is preferred, as well as a high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies.

Krockett has received a comprehensive health protocol, including:

• Spay/Neuter
• DHPPI Vaccine
• Rabies Vaccine
• Bordetella Vaccine
• Deworming
• Heartworm test (Negative)
• Health Certificate
• Vaccines booklet

Please note that Krockett is not yet house-trained.

Training & Support

While Krockett is crate and leash trained, he is not yet house-trained. He will need continued patience and a consistent routine to help him master this skill. His foster family has noted his need for protection and education, which is why an experienced owner with a background in dog behavior and training is ideal.

• A home check (virtual or in-person)
• A virtual meet-and-greet
• A trial adoption period

Transportation

Krockett is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, and is available for transport to the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest. A transport fee of $250.00, to be paid by the adopter prior to departure, will apply.
