This handsome chocolate Lab/Staffy mix is a big, strong hunk of a dog with the sweetest, squishiest love bug personality. He has a happy pittie smile, soulful amber eyes, adorable forehead wrinkles, and enough personality to keep you smiling every day. Ernie is the definition of a good boy – he's fully potty trained, crate trained, walks wonderfully on leash, knows "sit," and has fantastic house manners. He's been living with two other large dogs and has been absolutely amazing. Ernie's favorite thing in the world is his people; he loves to be included and will happily be wherever you are, whether it's sitting beside you or enjoying the patio. His greatest talent is his "sploot," which he does artfully when he decides it's the best way to relax. When he's not splooting, he's often found carrying his beloved giant plush toys, parading them around like treasures. Ernie is a social butterfly with other dogs and loves to play chase, zooming around the yard with his friends. He has an incredible off-switch, happy to cuddle up beside you for a quiet evening after playtime. Ernie was wonderful with children, showing gentleness and kindness. The only thing Ernie doesn't want to share his life with is cats; he'd do best in a cat-free home. He's handsome, hilarious, affectionate, well-mannered, dog-friendly, easy to live with, and overflowing with love.
