Sam

Sam is a wonderful dog who came to us severely underweight and with an untreated, long-term ear infection, having been excessively kenneled. His world was small, and he sadly had no expectations of what a home or a family is. Here, he's back to a normal weight, his ears are treated, and he excitedly plays with other dogs. Sam is happy to go for walks, does great on his leash, and is grateful for the time he spends with people. Are you able to give him the life he missed out on these years?

Ideal Home

A home where his new family will be conscious of what is within reach, as he has a habit of going for food on counters or in the trash due to past food insecurity.

Ongoing Health

Sam's ear infection has been treated, and he is now at a healthy weight. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Due to past experiences, Sam has developed a habit of seeking food from counters or the trash. A patient and understanding approach with management of his environment will be key to his success.
