Jesse Bear is one of those dogs that just seems genuinely happy to be included in whatever is going on. Everything about him is ridiculously cute, from his fluffy little teddy bear face to his constant happy smile. He has such a soft, gentle look about him that instantly makes you want to hug him, and his personality is even sweeter. Jesse Bear is the type of dog that quickly becomes everyone's favorite without even trying.

Ideal Home

Jesse Bear would be happiest in a home with kids 8 years old and older. He would also thrive with a fenced-in backyard rather than an apartment, as he loves being outside exploring, zooming, and soaking up the sunshine. He just wants to be with his people, whether that's snuggling on the couch, going for a walk, or heading out on an adventure.

Ongoing Health

Jesse Bear is believed to be a Shepherd/Husky mix, approximately 1 year old and weighing 52 lbs. As with any rescue, breed and age cannot be guaranteed.

Training & Support

Jesse Bear has been nothing but gentle around young children. He is dog-friendly and has done well with dogs of various sizes, matching their energy levels for play. He also met a resident cat named Biggie and was very respectful, showing no signs of chasing or being bothered by the cat.

Jesse Bear is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
